It's All Good with Michael Humphries 2-7-2012



I write this book with confident expectations of changing and/or improving the mind set and lifestyles of many people.
Life has given me so many blessings and awesome experiences. Love, happiness, faith, hope, family, and a lot of unique
people have soIidified a good life for me. I take none of this for granted, and thank God everyday for my blessed life.
I write this book from my heart and soul openly displaying my purpose, accomplishments, the "thrill of victory and the
agony of defeat." As I reflect back on my entire life, including its rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, I can shout to the world.
It's ALL GOOD!

My mother passed away about three years
ago and as far as I'm concerned, she was the best mother in the world. She was a strong woman of faith, and loved her family so
very much. She was always there for me, accepting me for who I am. After she passed away, I looked back and as I reflected on
the life she led, it was then I made the decision to write this book. Driven by honest responsibilities, it seemed she was always
worrying about something. Later on in my life, I realized I was repeating the same pattern. It became obvious that this excess
worry was cheating me of the power to live up to my potential. This "worrying" issue was bringing me down, therefore robbing
me of "peace of mind" everyday.

I have a good career and have been exposed to lifestyles of extreme wealth but I don't believe success is just about materialism.
I believe the definition of true success is being able to maintain "peace of mind."

Worry was my number one issue but there are so many other issues we must take full control over if we are to have peace each day.
Since we can't change yesterday, and tomorrow may never come, it is so important to make sure that we are happy today.

As I started to write this book, I began having what I refer to as "mental earthquakes." I set out to show steps necessary to keep worry
down to a minimum and found there are so many other distractions that prevent us from living fully. One of the major elements in
achieving steady "peace of mind" is total forgiveness. I will share with you the ways I have found to address the many situations in life that
possibly can block your happiness, your peace of mind, and prevent you from being the best you can be.

I have come to the conclusion that life is not that complicated but believe there are so many times we humans make things more difficult
than they are. One of my favorite quotes is from Ralph Waldo Emerson: "To be simple is to be great." I hope to show you the simplicity
of being happy and living every moment in a state of peace.

This book represents the story of a real person and lessons learned along the way. I keep working everyday to get better at this thing called life.
My passion is to give hope to so many that have given up, to return joy to people that, due to so many defeats, have lost it along the way. I want
to show love to individuals who are now afraid to love and help people reach their dreams and goals. By sharing lessons learned and steps to take,
my ultimate message is to make as many people as possible capable of attaining and maintaining the greatest success of all "Peace of Mind Everyday."

As you read about my life, keep your mind open for some fine tuning in your thought process. I strongly believe it is our choice as to situations of how
good things are, or how bad things are. The most recognized motivational man in the industry, Zig Zigler, says "Success and Happiness are not matters of
Chance but Choice." I know we can all learn to be better everyday if it is our desire to do so.

If you're content with the way things are and don't have the desire to improve, don't bother to read my book. But chances are if you've gotton
to this statement, you're like me, desiring to be a better person.
